Be (Beryllium) is our highest-awarded IEM. It is known as the master-of-all-music, failure-at-none. Our other IEMs may do better in some genres but for all-around excellence, Be is where most end their search. Revealing enough to be a true reference IEM but forgiving enough to use on any source.
Beryllium is among the lowest density stable metals but also has among the highest Young’s modulus values (a ratio of the stiffness) and a very high internal speed of sound.
This results in high efficiency and extremely low distortion as the diaphragm does not bend on its own, moves homogeneously, and dissipates internal energy very well.
This rare combination of performance attributes is what endows the Be IEMs with their freakish ability to compete with the best Beryllium transducer-based headphones on the market, at any price.

We have also developed our own 2.5mm jack: the IDEEL connector. This connector is the world’s smallest 2.5mm jack, measuring just 3.6mm across, and a tiny 9.5mm mounting depth. This jack allows us to use the very robust 2.5mm TS plug in our tiny IEMs. No more delicate MMCX or difficult 2 pin plastic connectors needed.
